Hand Raising

 Not all of our birds are hand raised. Some chicks are left to be parent raised.

Here are some photos showing some of our hand rearing, but we will be updating this page shortly with more comprehensive information and more photos.

New Chick

This Rainbow Lorikeet chick hatched on Mothers Day (8th May, 2005) at 6:50pm. Thought I'd take some photos.

This Rainbow Lorikeet took about 10 minutes to hatch and a lot of effort, after which it curled up and had a rest.
